SQL Interface between Capita & Bromcom

20 June 2003
Capita and Bromcom have reached agreement with regard to the method of interface to the SIMS.net database. This will enable Bromcom to manipulate data within SIMS using the same validation code as Capita's own developers. Initially Bromcom will provide interfaces for Attendance, Assessment & Profiles.

Bromcom's Attendance interface software proposes to update the SIMS SQL database in real-time as registers are being received. News of other interfaces between Bromcom and SIMS will be announced on the Bromcom web site. The release of such software interfaces will initially depend upon SIMS modules having been ported to SQL.

Bromcom is now a SIMS Partner and looks forward to working closely with Capita Education Services. Both companies will continue to offer a range of "best value" technology products to schools, colleges and the rest of the education sector.
